Scuba Review
Why do I need one..?
The answer is you may not, however there are many reasons why you may espeically after a period of inactivity, reasons may include:
• Knowledge and skills refresher.
• Pretravel or seasonal update.
• Refresher before enrollment in PADI Continuing Education programs.
• Knowledge and skill review when upgrading Junior Divers to adult level
certifications.
What do I have to do?
A scuba review consists of two parts;
• Knowledge Review
The purpose of the knowledge review is to make sure participants have retained
safety-related dive information.
Any areas of knowledge that have been forgotten over time or information on safe diving practices that have been updated since a participant originally qualfied can be identified and refreshed where needed.
• Confined Water Skills Review
Once the knowledge review has been completed, you will review the inwater skills you learned on your open water course. These skills will be conducted in the presence of a Certified PADI professional, thus any skills that are a bit rusty or you have forgotten can then be practiced with assistance of a trained professional as required.
How long does it take..?
A full scuba review can normally be conducted within a single evening
What does it cost..?
A scuba review is £50
What do I need to bring..?
• All divers conducting a scuba review must provide proof of their ceritifcation, please therefore bring your certification card with you, failure to do so could result in you not being able to enter the water.
• All equipment can be provided by Adventures, however if you have your own equipment and wish to use it then this is not a problem. We do however ask that is clean before used in the swimming pool.
